The Orkney Bus leaves Inverness Bus Station (stance 1).

The Orkney Bus travels direct to John O' Groats, giving you a short time in John O' Groats before boarding the passenger ferry for your 40 minute ferry trip to Burwick (Orkney).
A coach will meet you to drive north, arriving in Kirkwall in about 45 minutes. On your journey south board the bus in Kirkwall's Travel Centre. If you wish to use the early bus from Inverness or the later bus to Inverness you are strongly advised to book seats.

Please note that dogs and bicycles cannot be carried on the bus. Accompanied children under 16 are half-price, under-fives are free There is a car park next to Inverness Bus Station where you can leave you car overnight. |
