John O' Groats is 123miles north of Inverness (journey time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes) and 170 miles from Ullapool following the North of Scotland Tourist Trail.
There is a large free car park next to the Ferry Office.

In Orkney there are bus connections between Burwick and Kirkwall ( Travel Centre)
for all ferry sailings
e.g. A bus leaves Kirkwall (Travel Centre) at 9.00am for 9.45am sailing from Burwick to connect with "The Orkney Bus" and bus for morning train south.

A public bus service runs between Kirkwall, Stromness and other destinations.
